HOW DID WE GET HERE?

My journey started in the medical field as a nurse for nearly 21 years, retiring from that profession to pursue a more holistic approach to health care.  I had already been a massage therapist since 2005, only utilizing my skill on family.  In 2018 I decided it was time to become a full-time massage therapist, and I have enjoyed every minute of my career and built a wonderful clientele family.  Along my journey to look into more natural health, I started to visit Himalayan salt caves and learned first-hand that my allergies and sinuses were better controlled than with any medication that I had been using for my entire life.  In 2023, I was diagnosed with cancer and decided at that point that I needed more, and naturally.  Visiting Himalayan salt caves helped my anxiety and relaxation so my wheels started turning. 

In 2024, the planning process began.  In 2025 we found our great location in downtown Bridgman, MI and my family began helping make this dream come to fruition.  Friends, and now co-workers helped to decorate and bring our “Salty Campsite” to working and beautiful condition.  Our “campsite” features warm lighting, soft atmosphere, a firepit, and a wall mural, to feel like you’re overlooking Lake, MI at Weko Beach and a state-of-the-art halogenerator to create the micro-climate of a Himalayan salt cave.  The halogenerator disperses micro-sized, pharmaceutical grade Himalayan salt into the air offering many health benefits.   A quiet, calm campsite sitting around a beautiful fire is my happy place, this will be yours too.
